Key Highlights to the Finance Bill,2022

The Budget Statement 2022-23 was presented to the Parliament on 7 April 2022 by the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for National Treasury and Planning, Hon. Ukur
Yatani. In His Budget Statement, the CS proposed various Tax Policy measures for the year FY2022/23, which are contained in the Finance Bill 2022 (The Bill)
and are expected to generate an additional KShs 50.4 Bn to the exchequer.
